About Us

We work in partnership with local GPs and other health providers to help maximise their estate value and performance. Our extensive knowledge of the Essex area together with our specialist expertise in property, allows us to offer a full suite of services for local businesses and communities.

We provide expert strategic advice and planning, designing creative solutions that deliver sustainable value for your assets. We work as our Client’s representative managing the full cycle of works from initial design and feasibility through to project completion. We work in partnership with our Clients to deliver tailored financial options offering part or wholly funded build solutions.

To date we have invested £53.8m in the local community delivering 3 new health facilities and 22,856m2 of modern fit for purpose accommodation.

Meet the Team

Elaine Siew - Director

Elaine is the CEO of gbpartnerships group and Board Director of three public private LIFT companies. Elaine leads gbpartnerships (gbp) group, a multi-faceted group of companies focussing on asset and project management, consultancy services, property development and investment in primary care estate, the wider health and social care sector, retail and housing.

gbp manage and deliver asset services to an estate worth in excess of £800m, the gbp consult team provide estates consultancy and partnering services to all LIFTCo stakeholders and other public sector clients.

Elaine holds a medical degree and is a chartered accountant with 15 years’ experience as a Corporate Finance partner. Elaine has been a member of The LIFT Council since 2006. Elaine’s notable success as a business leader and her commitment to diversity and equality resulted in her winning the Leading Women in Infrastructure award at the 2024 Partnerships Awards.

Simon Waters - Director

Simon is the Southern Regional Director for Community Health Partnerships, responsible for strategic engagement and stakeholder management across multiple health economies within the region. As part of this role, he is a Board Director on 8 specialist health and social care Public Private Partnerships, managing a £200m regional investment portfolio comprising of 27 facilities in the primary care, community, and mental health sectors.

Starting from his original career in construction management, Simon has over 25 years’ experience leading on the design, build, finance, and operation of estates infrastructure, with specialist experience in the healthcare sector. He is CHP’s national lead for Corporate Social Responsibility, developing policy and positioning CHP in matters of community wealth, social value, sustainability, and staff wellbeing.

Daan Vermeer - Director

Daan joined the Equitix Asset Management team in June 2017 and is responsible for both social infrastructure and renewable energy assets. In his current role, Daan is appointed as Director on the Board of assets and portfolio companies spanning Acute Healthcare, Community Healthcare, Government Property, Student Accommodation, Social Housing and Schools. He is passionate about ensuring consistent service delivery to clients, and their service users, whilst ensuring stable investor returns. Daan’s expertise include development, delivery, ongoing operational management and handback stages. He is experienced at dealing with multiple project stakeholders to ensure a smooth delivery of services.

Daan has worked in the UK and European infrastructure and renewable energy markets since 2006. Prior to Equitix, he worked part-time in operational SPV management. His experience also includes extensive commercial and technical investment risk management for infrastructure projects.

He holds a PhD from University College London on the subject of collective learning in strategic PPP procurement systems, an MSc in Construction Management Engineering, and a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.

B. Ravi Kumar - Director

Ravi is a Director on various LIFTCos (healthcare joint ventures between public and private sectors), Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) and their related companies. He is a management accountant and corporate treasurer, and holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors. His involvement in PPP dates back over 25 years and in LIFT PPP almost 20 years across roles in both the private and public sectors, starting with roles in financial management before moving into investment management. He has led on various transactions including acquisitions and disposals of investments interests and other initiatives aimed at enhancing the value of the investment portfolio such as re-financings. He has served on PPP company boards since 2008.
